Point of Pride: Healthier Homes with EarthEnable

Gayatri Datar, CEO and Co-Founder @EarthEnable, 2024 Elevate Prize Foundation Winner

EarthEnable creates affordable, sustainable housing solutions in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya by replacing dirt floors with durable, washable earthen floors. These floors improve the health of low-income families, reduce illness, and increase opportunities for work and education. They are laid by trained, micro-franchised masons trained by EarthEnable. The social venture is now developing green and affordable housing products and upskilling local masons to better the living conditions of the most vulnerable people. I’ve partnered with them on their go-to-market strategy, pursuing new segments, and helping them refine their messaging and positioning to expand reach and impact.

Social Impact Highlights:

  • 150K+ lives impacted

  • 500+ jobs created

  • 28+ districts served

"Merci pour ta souplesse, Hamza, ta réceptivité, et ta générosité dans le partage d’expérience et de savoir, toutes les qualités d’un bon coach!"

Translation: "Thank you, Hamza, for your flexibility, openness, and generosity in sharing your experience and knowledge—all the qualities of a great coach!"
